South Island production services for creative agencies, producers and visiting productions.
Full kit and rentals, pre-approved DOC filming permits across five national parks, CAA Part 102 drone certification, and professional crews built around the project rather than the other way around.
If you're an agency, you lead the creative. We can handle prep, shoot and post, leaving you to the client relationship.
If you're a production bringing a shoot to the South Island, the locations you'd normally spend months accessing are probably already open to us.
We know the South Island inside out. So if you need a special location, we’ll find it for you.
Permits
Our blanket filming permit with Department of Conservation gives us pre-approved access to the West Coast, Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough and Selwyn areas. This includes 5 National Parks, drone in many areas and a small crew rate.
Studio
Situated 25 mins from Nelson Airport it includes a 5x5m cyclorama (see it here).
CAA Certified Drone operators
Our CAA Part 102 certification gives you peace of mind for commercial drone shoots. We have the systems and expertise to ensure safe operations and to deliver what you need in challenging situations.
Our filming permit with the Department of conservation gives us pre-approved unique and wide ranging access to a number of locations across the south Island including a number of National Parks.

Dave set up Vision Co in 2010 to offer scalable video production based in the regions of the South Island.
As an award winning cinematographer, editor, producer and director, he’s has been making commercials, brand videos, documentaries for TV and films for cinema for over 25 years.
